Antenna Design

Here we show some of our previous conformal antenna designs. On the left, an inverted-F antenna (IFA) integrated at the edge of a multi-layer FR4 printed circuit board is presented. It operates in the Bluetooth frequency band and the quite lossy FR4 material has been milled away to improve the radiation efficiency. On the right, the prototype of a dual band planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) working in a mobile phone is shown.
